This is a sketch of our labyrinth. Methods for laying out a variety of designs are available on-line. This is the one you can use to walk it in your mind
Here we are on the 19th October 2008, setting out the labyrinth design
I used irrigation dripline to lay out the design and fixed this in position with crimped wire stakes
The completed design viewed from the M3 adjacent highway
This is the 7th Nov 2008, the drip line is on and we’re planting Wild Garlic
Photographed in July 2009 the plants are starting to fill out and we’ve added more to bulk up the rows
10 March 2010 and the Labyrinth is starting to become photogenic

The principal of the Alpha School for autistic learners, Nerina Kearns, asked Co-Creators to build a labyrinth in the Woodstock Peace Garden. The labyrinth is used by the school as well as the community who tend garden plots. A labyrinth is an ancient metaphysical tool to assist with spiritual growth and organising the mind. How does it work? Walk it in your mind now, by allowing your finger to follow the path or come and visit the Peace Garden. Start by pausing at the entrance to make a wish. Hold that intention as you walk, following the path. When you arrive at the centre, pause and reflect. Turn and walk out. Magic.
